Based at Portpatrick Village Hall you will be required to work 4.75 hours per week 52 weeks per year.
Duties include responsibility for the security of the premises, lighting, heating, checking emergency lighting and fire extinguishers, cleaning of premises and porterage and handyperson duties. Other duties arising from the use of the premises such as taking bookings, setting out furniture, record keeping and cash handling.
Ideally, you will have caretaking and cleaning experience. You must be fit to move furniture and equipment, be willing to undertake key holder responsibilities and be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
This post requires evening and weekend work.

This is a temporary post for a period of up to 6 months.

This post may be suitable for secondment. Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.



This post is subject to basic candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland.

The above salary includes a current living wage supplement.
