You are required to assist the Senior Property Co-ordinator (Housing) in monitoring and co-ordinating operations of the Housing and Building Maintenance Section of Corporate & Housing Services. This will include all maintenance and investment contracts, in a manner which reflects Best Value and fulfils the legislative and financial requirements of the Service.
You will possess a relevant Property qualification and be educated to degree standard. You will have supervisory experience as you will be required to supervise and support a team of Technical Officers in all aspects of their work.
Attending progress/site meetings, you will act as Senior Property Co-ordinator (Housing) representative making decisions and reporting back to Senior Property Co-ordinator (Housing) as appropriate. You will also provide and present a high level of professional advice to the Council on all aspects of the services.
You will assist in the monitoring of financial and employee resources, and prepare and monitor revenue in consultation with the Senior Property Co-ordinator (Housing) and Property & Asset Manager.
You will assist in the development and successful implementation of Quality Management Systems to ensure performance indicators are clearly identified and Service delivery targets are met. You will also assist in monitoring performance of contractors predominantly used by Housing Services.
