Maintenance person /mini bus driver
The Role requires:
Full UK Driving Licence, must have the ability to drive a Mini Bus (17 seater)
Existing trade such as, electrician, joiner or plumber, would be advantageous
Experience of painting, decorating and general repairs.
You will also be required to undertake weekly system checks within the Care Home of which full training will be provided.
37.5 hours per week, full time.
Rate of Pay will depend on existing experience and qualifications.
You must be a good communicator and have the ability to prioritise and plan your work.
Be able to document repairs and maintenance carried out.
Be flexible to the needs of the Care Home, ensuring that we maintain the environment to the highest standards, for service users, families and visitors to the home.
A sound working knowledge of health and safety is desirable.
The post will require you to join the PVG Scheme (Protection of Vulnerable Groups)
The post can be physically demanding, i.e. lifting and moving objects around the care home.

The home has two buildings set in extensive landscaped grounds and gardens.
