Role Profile ROLE DEFINITION

To carry out maintenance work within North Ayrshire Council properties.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Responsibilities

To undertake individual role in line with the Council's Strategic Priorities and in compliance with the Council's corporate policies and procedures. To undertake any other reasonably required duties as instructed by Management or someone acting on their behalf, in addition to the role specific tasks & responsibilities detailed below.

Role Specific Tasks & Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance and repairs within domestic and commercial properties as instructed. Undertake refurbishment works for domestic and commercial properties. Ensure a high standard of customer care. Ensure compliance with departmental technical standards and current health and safety legislation. Work at heights using access equipment. Ensure timeous completion of documentation. Safe use and operation of tools and equipment Carry out ancillary skills as and when required (Ancillary Skills Matrix – Appendix Minimum productivity will be in line with the appropriate discount applied to the National Federation Rates as set out in the contracts / service level agreements.

SVQ Level 2/3 or Approved Apprenticeship, or equivalent in a relevant discipline Current CSCS Grade Card, or equivalent
