Role Purpose

Scottish Borders Council have a vacancy for an Electrician working within the Street Lighting Department. This is a temporary post until 31 March 2018 to meet the demands of implementing the Street Lighting Energy Efficiency Project.
The Successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours per week and cover rotas as required.


Scottish Joint Industry Board (SJIB) Graded Electrician
City and Guilds 2330 Parts 1 & 2 or willing to obtain within an agreed timescale of appointment
ERG 39 Course – Scottish Power or willing to obtain within an agreed timescale of appointment
IPAF Type 1b or willing to obtain within an agreed timescale of appointment
Driving Licence
