To assist in the delivery of a professional service including the delivery of engineering technical advice and information on all aspects of property engineering design and building services operation in line with the Council's policies, procedures and statutory legislation.
To be responsible for the design, specification and preparation of bills of quantities for Building Services (M&E) engineering services in association with the Council's property portfolio and current housing stock, and to ensure that Property Engineering Capital and Building programmes of work are delivered in line with the Councils Financial Regulations, Contract Standing Orders, Engineering Legislation/Regulation and Health and Safety Legislation.
To manage the engineering design team within the Property Service and provide professional and technical advice and information on all aspects of energy from building services; design, operation and maintenance in buildings, in line with the Council's policies.
