NES GT is looking to recruit an experienced Civils Clerk of Works for a £35 million major motorway project based in Perth.

You will take full responsibility for site inspections, testings, monitoring and also supporting contractors to ensure that the agreed standards are adhered to and objectives achieved.

You will be a suitably qualified, experienced Engineer or Clerk of Works with excellent site supervision skills. You will have a thorough understanding of highways design and construction and the principles of traffic management.

You will also have a keen eye for detail when it comes to understanding engineering drawings and assessing works and you must have detailed knowledge of relevant legislation and its practical application including CDM Regulations.

This project is due to be completed in 2019 so would be ideally suited to someone who is looking for long term contract work, however, the opportunity for this to turn into a permanent position is highly possible.
