My client is a well know Civil Engineering Company based at hi-spec offices in Euro-central just outside Glasgow.
Produce, manage and update the construction programme and its communication to internal and external customers and major stakeholders
Manage and incorporate change events into the construction programme, jointly with the commercial team and secure full entitlement under the contract.
Fulfill all of the programme requirements under the NEC Suite of Contracts
Principal Responsibilities and Accountability
Objectively assess progress and record ‘As –Built’ data of the project independently of the project team and management of the data in MS Project.
Provide detailed support and assistance to the project in order to enable the team to monitor pinch-points on the critical path and test and change logic where previously agreed to either improve upon the baseline programme or to mitigate potential delays.
Produce reports, cost & resource analysis and programme commentary to the Clients particular reporting requirements in MS Project.
Produce programmes, reports and / or extract filters as required by the project team, including indication of deviation from the baseline programme in MS Project.
In conjunction with the Commercial Team produce Earned Value Analysis Data in compliance with the clients requirements in MS Project.
The inclusion of commercial events / activities that could have an impact on the timing of the remaining works and the production of analysis demonstrating the effects on the baseline programme.
In conjunction with the Commercial Team produce deliverables in MS Project to accompany commercial submissions.
Formally issue programme updates to the client as required by the contract in MS Project.
Attend progress meetings with Internal and External Customers and deliver presentations on project progress.
Liaison with suppliers to ensure their programmes are integrated into the project programme.
Preparing short-term programmes in conjunction with the project team where required.
Providing technical input and advice as necessary.
Introducing improvements and innovations where appropriate.
