Property Manager – Edinburgh
Salary in the region of £22,000
Our client a city centre Letting Agency is looking to secure a proactive and customer focused Property Manager to join their existing team.
You must have excellent organisational skills; the ability to prioritise and time manage together with taking pride in offering all clients an exceptional customer experience.
A positive, professional manner and the ability to keep calm under pressure are all key attributes for a successful Property Manager.
Booking and liaising with contractors for maintenance issues, keeping all parties up-dated.
Processing property applications
Referencing prospective tenants
Arranging inventories and ‘check ins’ for incoming tenants
Arranging end of tenancy ‘check outs’ and dilapidation reports
Dealing with deposit releases
Dealing with utility and council tax companies and paying bills on landlords' behalf when necessary
Dealing with landlord and tenant queries, check out, deposit returns, maintenance queries etc.
Submitting insurance claims and deposit disputes for landlords and tenants
Booking and carry out property inspections with tenants and reporting to Landlords with feedback
Issuing section 33 notices and Notice to quits
Dealing with contractor invoicing
Assisting senior managers with administrative duties and issues and any other tasks when required
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
Good area knowledge
‘Can do’ attitude
Minimum of 2 years experience in the lettings industry
Must have full clean driving license
Full ARLA training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
