We are currently recruiting for Assistant Health & Safety Manager for a well established private and social housing contractor based in the East of Scotland. You will be reporting to the Health & Safety Manager and working closely with site based teams.
Requirements of the role;
• MIOSH or equivalent
• NEBOSH Diploma or working their way towards it
• Provide competent Health & Safety advice to senior management in the company
• Provide Health & Safety advice & leadership to encourage a safe working culture
• Carry out regular Health & Safety Inspections and provide quarterly reports
• Willing to develop and improve company procedures
• Organise training programmes & identify training requirements
• Working with our apprenticeship & community benefit programmes
In addition the following would also be desirable;
• Environmental management skills/qualification
• SHEQ abilities
