Knowledge of a nuclear environment would be advantageous though not essential

Reporting to the Hard Services Manager the Civils Supervisor is to drive operational excellence across the Civils team.
Act as point of contact in terms of building services expertise in all technical aspects and building environments.
Manage engineering facilities with no loss and impact to customer facing services.
Able to react in an ever changing business environment. Liaising with the Hard Services team and key stakeholders, this individual shall be confident and articulate and can interface at all levels, both internally and externally of the business.
Manage all PPMs for the engineers and also supervise sub-contractors to ensure there is no disruption to the clients services.

To be considered for this role, you must:

Proven experience in a FM building services
Previous supervisory experience
Good leadership skills
Experience of Maximo preferred
Able to work well as part of a highly motivated team.
Strong and effective communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills to operational issues
Good knowledge / experience of Microsoft office packages
Have an understanding of health and safety
Ability to work on own initiative
Planning and Organisational skills
Flexible and willing approach to work
Strong customer focus skills and attitude
Good communicator - both Written and Orally
Enthusiastic and Hardworking
Good time management
Working to tight deadlines

As a Civils Supervisor, you must be highly motivated with great leadership skills and a professional, positive approach. A strong communicator with a good level of commercial awareness and the ability to meet tight deadlines are also key.

Qualifications or Required Experience:  Technical Competencies:

At least 5 years experience in FM Building Services Effective and decisive organisational skills with experience in introducing new ideas and approaches Ability to lead a team and communicate across all levels working within performance management systems Experience of developing operational teams, focused on delivery Sound understanding of H&S, Environment and QA procedures

IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications and information management system
