Associate Building Surveyor - MRICS - Glasgow - Up to £65,000 plus Car
Your new company
One of the largest consultancies in the UK, who also have offices across the globe, are actively looking to appoint an Associate Director Building Surveyor for their Glasgow Office. They are a multidisciplinary practice who specialise in a variety of industries including cost management, project management, civil engineering, real estate and building surveying. They have built a strong reputation across the UK and have recently acquired some very high profile projects in the Scottish market.
Your new role
You will be an integral part of the Scottish business and will play a key role in managing and developing their Glasgow building surveying team. You will have responsibilities of managing a team of 8 building surveyors, ranging from graduates to senior level, whilst also directly liaising with the companies clients and developing the business further.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Building Surveyor who is currently at an Associate level or a Senior who is looking for the chance to move up. You will have a strong technical knowledge and proven experience in dilapidations, contract administration and development monitoring, building defects and project management. Previous experience in working within the Health and Education sectors would be a strong advantage. This role also entails team management so any experience in mentoring staff and helping them through their APC would again be a distinct advantage. You must have a MRICS qualification.
