We have created new Technician posts to work as part of our Project Services team to provide a Quantity Surveying service to our 37,000 homes and help progress our housing investment, new build programme and our Social Work Capital programmes.
Based in Philip Murray Road, Bellshill, you will be joining a Service which strives for excellence in service delivery and works well with partners, including our joint venture companies. You will assist the Service Delivery Manager within a multi-disciplinary environment and will be responsible for cost estimating, preparation of contract documentation and monitoring the quality of our varied contracts.
These posts represent an exciting and challenging opportunity for highly motivated individuals who have an SVQ3/HNC, or equivalent, in a design or construction discipline with moderate experience, as a minimum, in the design and construction industry. Applicants with significant experience and an SVQ4/HND/Degree or equivalent may be placed at the NLC10 salary scale.
With a professional manner and excellent communication skills, you should be IT literate. Knowledge of current design and construction legislation and trends/practices/technologies is desirable.This post is apply on-line only.
