Contract Scotland is working alongside a well established residential developer seeking to grow its commercial team and is keen to hear from motivated, ambitious and driven Quantity Surveyor to deal with a range of sites across the central belt.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager the role will involve dealing with procurement of sub-contractors, valuations and allocating work to subcontractors.
To apply for this role you should be qualified to HND or degree level (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying and a number of years previous experience with build contractors or house builders would be advantageous. You should have a strong attention to detail and a sound commercial understanding of the housing market is beneficial. You should be driven, IT literate and motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines as required. A full drivers licence is required.
