Full-Time role - based in Selkirk

One of my clients based within Selkirk is currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity with a global award winning organisation.

Duties involved in this role will include:-
* Manage complaints in relation to training effectually and in a timely manner
* Work closely with both internal and external training partners
* Manage the operational plan with includes production hours, staff numbers and quality assessment
* Assisting in the successful and cost effective operations strategy of the team
* Review management reports and suggested resolutions in productivity, service quality and profitability
* Ensure that management of projects is delivered successfully and that new opportunities are explored to meet the needs of the clients
* Inform head of delivery of any risks to the company (e.g.: service changes, competitor actives)
* Identify and inform the head of delivery of any cost saving opportunities
* Maintain and develop pertinent operational statistics
* Ensure that all activities are carried out and managed to deliver up to date, documented processes in support of the organisation
* Ensure that operational administration support tasks are co-ordinated and deliver added value to the front line teams
* Develop and drive UK wide training material along with a UK training & development programme
* Ensure all administration/logging/filing tasks are up to date and accurate at all times
* Provide practical solutions to resolve any training issues
* Maintain and monitor the business' skills base to ensure suitable training & development is executed
* Ensure daily/weekly updates and/or reports are provided within the timescales set by your Line Manager for all activity to include key statistics
* Provide leadership, development and coaching of Team Managers
* Provide support and assistance to your Line Manager
* Ensure all Holidays, sickness, notes and other data are accurately logged on all systems
* Liaise with the operations teams to provide feedback on new starters
* Ensure all training issues brought to the attention of the Training Manager are dealt with accordingly and in a timely manner
* Comply with all Company policies and procedures

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:-
* Previous experience within a Contact Centre environment at senior management level
* Ideally experience in managing projects/campaigns
* Basic understanding of Employment laws and legislations
* Strong leadership and people development skills
* Most importantly, willingness to work with strict planning, so we require full flexibility
