We currently require an experienced and fully qualified driver to drive minibuses and other vehicles mainly to transport students to and from Oatridge Campus in West Lothian.
You will be expected to provide safe transport for students, staff and visitors, to and from Oatridge Campus. Destinations are mainly Livingston and Linlithgow but journeys to other locations may be required.
You will carry out day-to-day pre-start and maintenance checks on vehicles as per printed checklist. You will maintain adequate fuel levels and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), reporting any defects to your line manager. You will also complete vehicle log sheets and keep the vehicle in clean condition.
This is typically a term-time only role (40 weeks per year) and the requirement is for up to 2 hrs in the morning and up to 2 hrs late afternoon. Occasionally other times of the day are required by arrangement.
You should possess a clean current UK driving licence, with entitlement to drive vehicle categories, minimum of, B and D1. Entitlement to additional vehicle categories would be advantageous. Experience of transporting groups of students would be an advantage and a flexible approach to working hours are essential requirements of this role.
