Salary: 8.48 per hour

Working Hours: 35 (Between hours of 8am and 6pm) flexible to meet the needs of the service

Reports To: Senior Childcare Worker

Position Summary:

We currently have vacancies for Full time experienced and enthusiastic Childcare Practitioners. Applicants must be qualified to HNC/SVQ 3 level .  Applicants will be required to have a sound knowledge of working with both Curriculum for Excellence and Pre-Birth to Three with a basic knowledge of Building the Ambition.

Successful applicants must be a member of the PVG scheme and be SSSC registered.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • The candidate must be qualified to HNC/SVQ 111 with the ability to work as a member of our staff  team.
  • It is essential that they have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills and have the capacity to develop effective working relationships with all service users.
  • Registration with Scottish Social Services Council is essential .
