A unique opportunity has arisen to work as part of a successful, small team within our Nursery in Robert Douglas Memorial School in the permanent full time post of Play Assistant. The Nursery has up to 40 places in the morning and 30 in the afternoon in bright and spacious accommodation within the school. The successful applicant will support across the nursery contributing to planning and delivering quality experiences for all the children.
Ideally you will have experience of working with children under the age of 5 and have an understanding of child development. Ideally you will also have a childcare qualification that will allow you to be registered with the SSSC or be willing to work towards a suitable qualification and accomplish it within timescales set by SSSC.
