Head Teacher,Broxburn Primary School, 35 hours per week, Closing Date 29th January 2017
Broxburn Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the community of East Broxburn. The school has 15 primary classes, a nursery class and a small wraparound facility. The school roll is 469 including 70 part-time nursery children. There are two classes at every stage and a P2/1 class. The teaching staff of 25 includes the headteacher, depute head teacher and 2 principal teachers.
The school's support and administrative staff provide good support for learning and teaching, and pastoral support and care for pupils.
The completion of recent building work provides the school with additional hall space, enhanced nursery space and expansive and varied outdoor areas.
The school has strong links with its cluster schools and the local community. The school has an active parent council who engage in supporting the school improving outcomes for pupils and staff.
