Perth High School
We have a vacancy for a Teacher of English at Perth High School. Perth High School is a large comprehensive drawing it's catchment from a mix of Perth city and rural Perthshire. The English Department offers the full range of courses from S1 to Advanced Higher and has high levels of uptake and attainment. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled teacher to join this strong and forward thinking department.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to motivate and engage with young people and show that they fully understand the values and principles of a Curriculum for Excellence. The ability to teach Media Studies would be preferred, but not essential.
Although this position is a 0.8 post, applicants interested in 0.4 will also be considered.
