As part of the College Management Team the post holder will lead and manage the Faculty of Engineering, Construction and Science; contribute to the College planning process; and seek to ensure that the curriculum developed and delivered by the College is up-to-date, of high quality and meets the needs of learners.
The post holder is required to develop both strategic and operational relationships with key partners and stakeholders both internal and external to the College.
Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent; hold a recognised teaching qualification and be able to evidence continuous professional development.
Significant experience in the leadership and management of teams and developing innovative programmes of education and training is essential as is the ability to plan effective and responsive curriculum. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of the national priorities for Further Education in Scotland; the drivers for change with the Further Education Sector; and the skills priorities regionally and locally.
