The primary focus of the role is to line manage curriculum managers; assist in the College planning process; and ensure that the curriculum developed and delivered by Glasgow Kelvin College is up-to-date and of high quality, meets the needs of learners and of the local, regional and national economies, and contributes effectively to the delivery of the Glasgow Regional Outcome Agreement as well as the Glasgow Single Outcome Agreement.
Applicants should be educated to degree level or equivalent; hold a recognised teaching qualification and be able to evidence continuous professional development.
Significant experience in the leadership and management of teams and developing innovative programmes of education and training is essential as is the ability to plan effective and responsive curriculum. Applicants should also be able undertake partnership work and raise the colleges profile externally; and support the development of the curriculum relating to credit-rated co-delivery and national qualification level community development programmes.
