Responsible to: Programme and Development Manager.

Job Purpose: To deliver teaching programmes and contribute to the development and efficient operation of the department to meet Inverness College’s operational and quality targets.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Supported Education Team at Inverness College.  The role of lecturer supported education is to facilitate the learning and development of young people and adults with additional support needs.  Lecturers in the team deliver the curriculum and support the pastoral care of assigned students to help them transition into college courses, achieve success in their learning and progress onto positive destinations.  This is achieved through teamwork and by collaborating with a range of agencies that support our students.
