LECTURER – ELECTRONIC FIRE AND SECURITY SYSTEMS
Permanent, 35 hours per week
£34,180 – £38,532 per annum, pro rata
Successful candidates will have appropriate experience in Electronic Fire and Security Systems Engineering including Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance. To support the teaching and development of the Securities section, within the busy Faculty of Engineering and Automotive.
With practical experience in the relevant discipline, you must have served a recognised Securities Apprenticeship, and have post qualified industry work experience. You should be qualified to HNC (SCQF Level 7) or equivalent level of qualification, in an appropriate field. Possession of a teaching qualification, and assessor or verifier units would be advantageous, and ideally you will have experience in delivering and developing the Further Education curriculum.
An effective communicator, and a highly motivated individual, you will have a passion for the subject and the ability to work to deadlines both within a team setting, and on your own.
