Are you interested being a key asset of mechanical estimating function of a successfully growing and established M&E Building Services business? If you're from a commercial background with a mechanical bias within the M&E Building Services industry and already have a daily involvement in mechanical estimating then this is an opportunity to further your career within a forward thinking and strongly performing M&E Building Services business based in the outskirts of Glasgow.

As a leading multi-disciplinary construction contractor, they have operated within the Scottish M&E Building Services market for over the last 10 years where they have completed a variety of well-known projects which is mirrored by some of the projects all of their divisions are working on at present within the commercial construction build market place

Joining a well-established team, you will be working on preparing and submitting the mechanical elements of key M&E bids and tenders on both new build and refurbishment projects, particularly within the retail, education, commercial and healthcare sectors. On top of which, you will operate as the lead bid manager for several key tenders whilst aiding in the development of more junior members of the support team.

The successful candidate will utilise their mechanical building services expertise in order to win M&E projects up to the value of 5mil. A keen focus of this role will involve the negotiation and preparation of quotations for works in conjunction with the whole commercial team with support largely from a passionate and driven mechanical operations team.

Ideally, you're currently working as a mechanical estimator for an M&E Building Services contractor and are looking for a new challenge within a commercially focussed team where you will be at the forefront of the mechanical pre-construction process. With the support of an already established team, there is also the opportunity for further training and development as well as the opportunity to lead the Mechanical Bid Management function on many key tenders for the full business.

In return, you will have the opportunity to be a key member of an already successful work winning team which has a track record in implementing new ideas and the constant development of each member of its business. As well as an annual salary between 40k - 48k per annum, you can expect a benefits package which will include a car allowance, pension contributory and fuel card.
