Controls Systems Manager
The University is seeking to recruit an experienced Controls Professional into the role of Controls Systems Manager. The successful candidate will join the Energy and Controls Office in the Estates Operations Department and will support the Energy Systems Manager in delivery of both operational and strategic goals, in line with Estates Operations Objectives and University Strategic themes.
You will provide specialist expertise to ensure that the Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and energy metering systems deliver the most efficient, cost effective and technically competent solution in order to meet University requirements. You will lead a team of Control Engineers, ensuring that BEMS and energy metering are developed to deliver environmental conditions and critical services to specification whilst maintaining utilities expenditure within budget.
Strong organisational and management skills, customer focus and an ability to persuade and influence at all levels is essential. You should be a confident communicator with excellent customer liaison and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail. The ability to develop relationships and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation is essential.
