A prestigious, highly regarded Engineering Consultancy with a long history in supporting infrastructure investment in Scotland is looking to recruit an Infrastructure Design Engineer in Glasgow.
What will the role entail?
The main purpose of the role is to support in the design of drainage systems for a variety of projects across Scotland including major transportation schemes, flood alleviation schemes and hydro-electric developments. You will take the lead in designing drainage infrastructure including SUDS and road drainage systems. You will also undertake hydrological analysis and hydraulic modelling and offer expertise in the preparation of Drainage Impact Assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments.

How can you be considered for this position?
You should be educated to a minimum of degree level or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related qualification. You should have previous experience in drainage design (including SUDs) using software such as PDS and Microdrainage. Furthermore you should have an enthusiastic, self-motivated approach to your work and be happy to support the team to your fullest ability. Strong written and verbal communication ability is also required to be able to fulfil the role.
