We are looking for a motivated and efficient Lighting and Rigging Technician to work within the Technical Services Team; in line with our vision to become the Best Event Campus in Europe.
The Lighting and Rigging Technician will be responsible for providing all Technical advice and support to the highest standard at every touch point in the campus. The role will specifically involve the following responsibilities;
- To maintain, set up, operate and advise on all aspects of SECC technical equipment to the highest possible standards for all clients,
- To plan and develop effective lighting and rigging solutions for any campus requirements.
- To maintain the production lighting, rigging and facilities by working to a planned preventative maintenance program.
- To maintain an asset register of all rigging equipment in order to ensure that all statutory requirements for the testing and inspection of equipment are maintained.
The Lighting and Rigging Technician will also be a flexible and motivated team worker who ideally has knowledge and skills within the Technical Services industry.
It would be preferred that the candidate has a minimum of two years’ experience in the Technical Services sector in order to contribute to, deliver and execute efficient safe and efficient Technical services and facilities to clients within the SEC.
The candidate should be able to provide evidence that they have a proven track record for delivering results and have a working knowledge of the industry.
