Mechanical Integrity Manager required for our client based in Grangemouth.

Applicants should be degree qualified or equivalent and will have held management position based in a plant and or manufacturing site.

Main Functions:

Manage the plant asset integrity procedures.
Ensure the mechanical integrity inspection and preventative maintenance programmes are met.
Oversee the operation of any drawings required such as pipework isometrics or tank general arrangements.
Manage assets using in-house or third party resource.
Liaise with third party inspectors and service providers to ensure they understand what is require of them and also to understand any imitations on their ability to meet these requirements.
Produce reports detailing the findings of asset inspections, collate third party reports and other relevant documentation and ensure these are filed electronically in ANTEA inspection manager.
To assess or cause to be assessed by a competent person, inspection reports to determine whether assets are fit to return to service. for assets within scope of PSSR the task will be the responsibility for a third party Competent person but for tanks and pipework fitness for service may be assessed by the mechanical integrity engineer provided they are uitably experienced and qualified to do so.

To manage RBI process by convening teams drawn from other departments in order to assess risks and likely hood of potential failure mechanisms and to determine these are to be managed.
Manage production of WSEs and act as the competent person for the preparation & authorisation of atmospheric storage tanks and pipework WSEs provided they are sufficiently qualified.
Conduct post-inspection and other period review of RBI assessments and WSEs
Manage preventative maintenance process.
Coalesce reliability data form SAP
Gather maintainability data to help define repairs and procedures.
Initiate engineering studies into equipment/Process failures an present details of analysis
Look after the definition of parameters and necessary techniques/methodologies to carry out preventative maintenance plans.
Support the superior in carrying out preventative maintenance plans, manage spare parts usage.
Perform other tasks as assigned in accordance with the required standard.
