RCS is a rapidly growing, ambitious engineering company, headquartered in Ayrshire and working throughout Scotland with some of the largest names in Aerospace, defence, automotive and food manufacturers. We provide design, installation, testing and maintenance of local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems to world leading companies with our team of 30 staff. We currently have vacancies on a number of projects where self initiative and good problem solving skills are essential. Experience in all aspects of inspection and testing within industrial environments is essential and LEV experience is preferred although training is available. Overtime opportunities will be available. The successful candidates will ideally have some experience as a Mechanical Fitter,Electrician, Service Engineer, Occupational Hygienist in addition to the inspection or installation skills. Previous experience of installing and servicing dust extraction equipment and air handling units repairing and maintaining this type of equipment listed above would be advantageous. Qualifications to P601, P604. Preparing parts lists and site skills are essential, Key areas of competency required are as follows: • Recognised Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship, qualified to SVQ level 3 as a minimum. • Experience of Maintenance Procedures, Risk, and COSHH assessments and Safe Systems of Work. • Diligence and attention to detail when undertaking all tasks. • Strong team working and interpersonal skills, this will be a client facing role• Full, clean driving licence. Principles of airflow would be useful.

Similar service, inspection or installation roles may be considered for similar industrial equipment requiring on site installation, including HVAC or LEV Experience. Occupational Hygiene or safety background may also be suitable.  This represents a real career opportunity for the successful candidate and development within the role and beyond is expected and encouraged.
