Due to further expansion we are looking for an Estimating Manager to be based out of our head office in the Blantyre area. The office is conveniently situated with excellent motorway access.
For the role of Estimating Manager, you will have a background in the utilities Industry as you will be working on multiple projects for a number of high-profile clients such as Scottish Power, SSE, Verizon, and Iberdrola.
Main scope of duties will be to -
- Evaluate Customer requirements for tenders, bids and quotation documents
- Develop cost estimates and co-ordinate proposals
- Manage multiple bids and act as liaison between teams
- Co-ordinate Sub Contractors for pricing proposals
- Undertake site visits and assist in preparing Programme of Work for projects
What we need from you -
Ideally you will have experience of Utilities or Civil Engineering projects having direct responsibility for the duties outlined above.
What is essential is that you have extensive knowledge of NEC and FIDIC Contracts with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Powerpoint.
