The clients preference is to see candidates from a domestic heating' background, either in relation to new installs or gas servicing. The work to be inspected will also cover the follow up trades works on site. In relation to duties, you will be expected to provide a professional maintenance service at all times representing the client on site which will include acting in a Mechanical and Electrical Clerk of Works capacity.
You will be required to:
• Deliver appropriate information on matters of legitimate concern to relevant management.
• At all times, ensure Best Value' issues relating to the Maintenance Group within Property Resources are being adhered to.
• Assist with planning and programming of Capital and Revenue Works as requested, for all external clients.
• Ensure the Maintenance Group complies with the Construction (Design and Management) and Health and Safety Regulations in all aspects of its work.
The rate of pay on offer is circa £14 per hour (PAYE basis) to the candidate, based on a maximum 40 hours week and as noted the position is looking to offer a start in the coming weeks. Please note a site vehicle will also be available.
