As one of Scotland's leading and most established Building Services Contractors, this business is looking to increase their mechanical project management capabilities due to winning a large, new build project in the commercial industry over the M&E value of 30mil where the successful applicant will lead the Mechanical function for this project including pre-commencement work prior to the project becoming live into late 2017/early 2018.

If you are from a Mechanical Project Management background within the Building Services sector and have an interest in being responsible for the day to day project management of major M&E installation projects, then this is a rare opportunity to become a part of one of Scotland's most well established M&E Building Services contractors based from their offices in the Central Belt of Scotland. This role will entail overseeing various member of staff including supervisors, trades and various specialist sub-contractors and thoroughly resolving any issues that may arise on the project whilst insuring that all Building Services systems are properly installed and commissioned. Whilst liaising with clients and leading meetings with both the client and end user being a key facet of the success of this role, you will also be required to work along with the Quantity Surveying team to ensure the project sticks
to costs and budgets as well as still ensuring the high quality installation.

Perhaps you're currently working for an M&E Building Services Contractor in a Mechanical Project Management role and you are looking for a new challenge by leading the project management function for prestigious and large scale Mechanical projects. At this stage, you'll need to be able to demonstrate extensive Mechanical project engineering and management experience in an M&E Building Services organisation. You should have a wide and well developed commercial awareness as well as a track record on delivering on a variety of projects where you will have some knowledge and experience of modular and pre-fabricated M&E Building Services projects.
