We are currently looking for a Multiskilled Craftperson to join the established team in the Great Glen. The Great Glen section has 12 generating sites and 106MW's of capacity to the business, with teams who operate and maintain the assets and assistance is provided at Foyers which is a 300MW Pump Storage Power Station.

As a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, undertaking fault finding and repairs on the fixed installations of the power stations, as well as planning and organising maintenance work and assisting with general day to day tasks within the stations. You will carry out mechanical maintenance activities and support on designated project work. You'll also undertake the duties of a "unit operator" for some of the power stations. As part of the company ethos you may be asked to carry out duties out with your main core skills but within your capabilities, therefore, a degree of flexibility is required.

To be successful in this role you will hold a minimum qualification of City and Guilds or equivalent craft apprenticeship certificates. You will be able to call on your skills associated with Mechanical plant maintenance,. You will have experience on associated ancillary plant and equipment, and be competent in the use of small hand tools. You will have a good knowledge of mechanical systems and commercial safety and quality awareness would be an advantage, however full training will be provided. A current driving licence is essential.
