Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in Wind Farm implementation.

You will be working for one of the leading companies in the industry supporting them both in tendering phase and project implementation - ensuring that both the technical specification in proposals are appropriate and meet the required standards, and that the quality of the equipment and its installation are fit for purpose.

This will involve working closely with Business Development teams and Project Managers as well as maintaining excellent working relationships with electrical subcontractors.

The role will primarily be based in the Edinburgh office and there will be some requirement to visit sites during the installation phases and manufacturing facilities for factory acceptance tests.

You will need to have an Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree and a Masters degree will be a strong asset. A good understanding of SCADA as well high voltage engineering, control engineering and communication protocols as they pertain to wind farms will aid your application as well.

This will be a fixed term permanent role for 2 years with the potential to extend or become fully permanent at the end of this time.
