SVQ Engineering Assessor

The Tell Organisation Ltd. currently requires a part time SVQ Assessor to assess our engineering apprentices working towards their Modern Apprenticeships in engineering. This role is suitable for a fully qualified Engineer holding D32/33, A1 or L&D9 Assessor awards. The engineering disciplines we support across our employer base are mechanical, electrical, fabrication and welding and electronics engineering. The successful applicant will work to deliver a high quality assessment programme, with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach and have a broad knowledge and experience of assessing some or all of the disciplines detailed above. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required and a good level of confidence in use of IT and/or e-portfolios is essential. We are looking for someone who can be flexible and adaptable with a good understanding of the Modern Apprenticeship funding model. Hours can vary and applicant must be very flexible as to hours of work required due to the shift patterns that some apprentices may be working. The Assessor will be peripatetic but will be based out of the Dumbarton office. Applicants must have a full driving licence and access to their own car. Tell are an Equal Opportunities employer.
