We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Compliance professional to join our team at Babcock.
The role holder will be responsible for reviewing, maintaining and improving a suite of Compliance documentation which supports operations at HM Naval Base Clyde.
Specific responsibilities will include reviewing site activities in relation to compliance requirements, determining areas of non-compliance, identifying corrective actions and producing comprehensive compliance documentation. Additionally, the role holder will support the collation, assessment and reporting of information in relation to periodic reviews of safety.
The anticipated salary for this role will be between £29,000 to £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Skills and experience
We are seeking applications from candidates with previous experience of working in compliance roles, preferably gained within engineering environments. Holding a Lead Auditor qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential. Key areas of competency we require will include:
- HNC in a relevant discipline (e.g. Quality, Engineering) or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with business stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
- Attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
- Competent user of MS Office suite of software
