Working4U is a multidisciplinary council service that supports people from West Dunbartonshire, and in some cases beyond, who are unemployed or under employed to progress towards and move into work.
This is achieved by assessing their needs and identifying their goals, providing assistance with benefits and debt, improving access to learning, digital literacy and supporting their preparation for the world of work through tailored client centred provision.
We currently have an opportunity for a Team Leader within our Youth Employability and Literacies Team covering maternity leave. The role will involve developing and delivering a
range of quality youth provision that assists young people to develop their employability and move in to positive destinations.
The job holder will be a key member of the Working4U Management team with direct
line management responsibilities and a key role in shaping the Working4U strategy of the Council ensuring delivery of high quality integrated and specialist customer service.
The preferred applicant will be required to complete a Basic Disclosure check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
