You will be responsible for the day to day operational management of resources allocated for the provision of Corporate & Housing Services within a defined area, ensuring the provision of high quality services, which reflect best value and fulfil the financial and legislative requirements of the Service.
You will possess a professional qualification, to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, together with Membership of the association of Building Engineers or relevant professional body, together with experience of working in a competitive environment. A wide ranging knowledge of current issues and developments relating to Property Maintenance functions including an up-to-date knowledge of legislation affecting Housing Services is also required.
Proven Senior Management experience in the delivery of effective quality services, coupled with the necessary supervisory expertise to carry out the managerial responsibilities of the post. You will also have experience of working in a competitive environment.
Commercially aware, you will have project management and managerial skills in relation to redeployment of employee and financial resources. Report writing skills and well-developed and comprehensive computer and IT skills are required.
A current, full driving licence is essential.
