Ardgowan University Teaching Hospice is a well-established Hospice offering specialist palliative and end of life care to the people of Inverclyde.
We are seeking to appoint a highly experienced fundraising professional to this exciting new post, in order to lead on our capital appeal to raise £5 million for a new Hospice building (early pledges of around £1.5 million).
Based in the Hospice’s main office in Greenock, you will be part of a successful and highly motivated team, operating in a dynamic environment which will afford you the opportunity to make your mark and make a difference by delivering this vital project successfully.
You will be educated to degree level, a member of the Institute of Fundraising or other professional body, with a formal qualification in fundraising. You will have strong previous experience of major donor fundraising and a firm understanding of running and delivering a substantial capital campaign. A natural leader and motivator, you will be exceptional at building relationships and planning
multi-channel fundraising campaigns and also confident in your ability to deliver against a significant fundraising target.
You will work closely with the Chair, Board of Trustees; Trustees; Chief Executive; Project Future Care Development Group; and Senior Management Team to shape and support approaches to prospective and current major donors, trusts and foundations, corporates and other important stakeholders.
