An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Actuarial Modeller (Finance Specialist) based in Craigforth, Stirling.
You will work in a team of technical experts to develop and deliver deterministic model changes.  Working on a variety of BAU and project related enhancements, you will be involved in the preparation and review of business requirements, building model code, and testing enhancements.  There is scope to get involved in a wide variety of tasks with stakeholders from across the business.
To be successful in this role you will likely have the following skills & experience:
  • Experience of applying analytical views/approaches to problem solving
  • Experience of developing or enhancing financial models.
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Good MS Excel & MS Word knowledge
  • Understanding of the design of tools and techniques for financial modelling
  • Knowledge of actuarial models
  • Knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislative frameworks preferred
  • Progress towards actuarial qualification is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Experience of MoSes, RAFM, Prophet (or other) actuarial software packages would be advantageous.
