In this role I define, plan and manage the delivery of all Credit Card acquisition pricing activity and projects in order to support the profitable growth strategies across all products, customer segments and channels.


  • Define, manage and deliver the Credit Cards acquisition pricing strategy, ensuring pricing meets customer needs

  • Develop business cases for all pricing changes considering impact on trade volumes, NPV (Net Present Value) and the full P&L

  • Develop commercial requirements to support the build of new price points

  • Syndicate price point builds and enlivenment proposals with key cards stakeholders including Marketing, Business Analysis, Finance and IT

  • Identify and develop initiatives or opportunities to optimise pricing including benchmarking against competitors

  • Ensure that all pricing proposals adhere to appropriate governance

  • Ensure that there is sufficient performance tracking to support future pricing decisions

  • To provide pricing related support to the Trade Manager and wider team

  • Managing E2E ad-hoc projects that support pricing capability and allow us to invest more value in our NPVs

Skills and experience:

  • Effective project management, stakeholder management, influencing, presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to review and interpret analysis to support decision making

  • To be able to use your own initiative as well as demonstrate resilience to drive forward business proposals

  • Significant experience in Financial Services, preferably in consumer credit products

  • Significant commercial knowledge in particular approach to pricing
