Location: Dunbartonshire West
We are looking for a volunteer to cook a wide variety of health meals for our guests at our Dunn Street serivce. Dunn Street is a respite service for young adults with a learning disability, within the West Dunbartonshire area. The service will provide a person centred respite care and support. The purpose-built premises will provide short break accommodation for 6 individuals on a planned or emergency basis.
Experience and skills require:
· Good cooking skills
· Awareness of supporting people with disabilities and complex needs
· Enthusiastic and creative
· Good awareness of healthy eating and Food and Hygiene requirements
This opportunity will take place at Dunn Street on a Monday and Friday. It would be great if the volunteer is available from 3-5pm.
All relevant training will be provided and support will be given during supervisions. Selection procedure will be application form, informal meeting with Project Manager, reference and PVG checks.
