The successful candidate will manage and monitor the Recruitment Process, from advertising to appointment stage, ensuring employee benefits are revised and visible,. This includes preparing job descriptions, adverts and dealing with relevant pre-employment vetting checks, liaising with managers on the progress and highlighting any queries and will ensure that the recruitment process is followed in with line with agreed SLA’s, recruitment policy, procedure and will manage the interview process, including being part of the interview addition you will also provide HR advice and support, including administrative as required in relation to all areas i.e. recruitment and selection, highlighting any areas of risk.
The ideal candidate will have a certificate in HR/Recruitment practice or an appropriate HNC/SVQ Level III qualification or relevant work experience. You will have experience of working within a Recruitment or HR function in a diverse organisation, including experience of inputting data, running reports etc, have excellent communication, liaison and relationship building skills. Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and databases, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manager conflicting priorities and the ability to meet tight deadlines and accuracy and attention to detail is also essential.
It would also be advantageous to have an understanding of employment law and legislation relevant to the College HR function and working knowledge of Power point.
