Fred Martin project is a supported living service comprising of 7 houses situated in the north west of Glasgow. We provide 24 hour support to adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities.
We are looking for a volunteer drive to drive people we support from their home to clubs and other social activities.
The volunteer driver should be an experienced driver who is confident, empathetic and must be able to keep calm in challenging situation.
This will take place in various locations in the north west of the city. Monday - Friday between the hours of:
10.30 - 11.30am and 1.30 - 2.30pm and volunteers should be able to commit to at least one day per week.
It would be beneficial if you were available for at least 6 months as this will allow you to get to know the role.
Quarriers will provide all training that is need for the role including:
Induction to Quarriers, Fire Safety, adult protection.
The volunteer should have a clean licence or a maximum of 6 points. The volunteer should be over 25 years old and have at least 2 years driving experience.
Selection procedure will be volunteer application form, meeting with team leader, PVG and reference check.
