Salary: £32,004 to £38,183 per annum

We are looking to appoint a fixed term project post to work on a major collections rationalisation project in connection with the development of the University Collections Facility at South Gyle. Based at South Gyle and the Main Library in George Square you will be required to facilitate the evaluation and rationalisation of collections material.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional archivist with prior experience of archives, library or collections work. The ability to work using own initiative is an essential as is accuracy and attention to detail and the possession of excellent communication skills.

This role will form part of a team of five new project posts being created to work on this key project.  The project is crucial in ensuring the ongoing stability and discoverability of collections and presents an excellent opportunity to gain relevant work experience within a dynamic and supportive work environment.

This post is offered on a full-time fixed-term basis for a 12 month duration.
