The Seven Kings is a large, single bar operation situated in the town centre of Dunfermline. The pub has recently enjoyed a comprehensive refurbishment and as a result is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to strengthen our existing Management team. This is high volume, fast paced environment, with 200+ covers plus a team of over 35 staff. The pub trades from 9am through to 1am offering breakfast and the mainstream menu. Sport and a comprehensive Draught range compliment our offer.

The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running, and demonstrate similar experience in a past role.

Key Responsibilities

To deputise for the Retail Manager in times of absence.
Promote friendly, efficient and effective relationships with all customers and team members.
Monitor staff performance
Monitor daily operations
Ensure correct operating procedures are followed and company standards are met.
Be aware of the house P&L and actions required to achieve budget.
Carry out regular till and stock checks.
Performance-manage or discipline staff when needed.
Maintain a safe environment for customers and staff at all times.

Experience in the licence trade
Experience in supervising and motivating a team
Ability to follow company procedures and deliver high standards
Computer literate with competent numerical & cash handling skills

Flexible and adaptable to perform any other duties as required
Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings
