HR and Recruitment Manager

Reporting directly to the CEO, the HR & Recruitment Manager will be responsible for the Human Resource & Recruitment function to ensure the delivery of a first class internal customer service as well as managing the recruitment and selection process.


  • Creation and updating of Employment Handbook policies & procedures

  • Creation and implementation of Company training, development and succession planning policy

  • Ensuring Employment Law is adhered to at all times

  • Coaching and liaising with MOV8 Managers on any HR related issues such as performance management, absence management, disciplinaries and grievances

  • Reward management reviews

  • Using business insights to drive change in people management practices

  • Ensuring MOV8 Managers perform regular reviews with our valued team members;

  • Proactively source ideal candidates through a variety of channels including social media, broadcast advertising and word-of-mouth

  • Identify and maintain a Talent Bank of potential future talent

  • Organising and attending interviews & development of appropriate interview material

  • Management of the recruitment software and database


Essential qualities include:

  • Previous HR & Recruitment management experience

  • Excellent written and spoken English

  • Able to run and grow the HR function/department in line with the needs of the business

  • Training, development and succession planning skills

Desirable qualities include:

  • Change management experience

  • Experienced in longer term resource and talent management planning

  • Developing a business culture of achievement and transparency

Education / Qualifications

Essential: Third Level Education in a relevant discipline

Desirable: Part or Full CIPD Qualification
