An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Shared Services Partner to develop and maintain a central shared HR service across the Link group of 8 operating subsidiaries to provide customer service excellence and value for money.
The Link group of housing, care, support and regeneration social enterprises offers a wide range of services to more than 15,000 families and individuals, primarily in Scotland's central belt.

About the HR Shared Services Partner
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will lead and develop a central team of qualified HR practitioners, based in our Edinburgh Head Office, to provide professional, timely and accurate range of HR services, systems, self-service and first line advisory support to employees and line manages within agreed service levels, deadlines and budgets.
You will provide guidance and support on all aspects of HR service delivery with the HR Manager to develop, maintain and implement effective methods of business/service planning and process re-engineering strategies identifying and implementing best practice to meet the needs of the business.
Lead, manage and develop a team to provide a range of comprehensive human resources shared services as the first point of contact for all HR related queries providing information and advice on terms and conditions of employment, HR policies, procedures and processes as appropriate to managers, employees and workers.
Lead, manage and develop a team to provide HR services within agreed service levels, policy and procedure requirements and budgets including (but not limited to); employee and manager self service, recruitment and selection, workforce governance and legal checks, contractual administration of employee lifecycle changes, entitlements and pre-payroll processing, induction and onboarding, management information and reporting and a range of administrative services and records management.
Lead, develop and implement the candidate, employee and manager self services through shared services systems and technology and to improve customer experience, effectiveness and efficiency where appropriate.
Lead and/or support the delivery of HR projects across the Link group and/or subsidiaries including but not limited to: the effective change management approach and implementation of changes to HR services, policies, procedures, processes, systems and practices through communication, guidance and training to colleagues and business initiatives.
HR systems management and governance ensuring that HR systems and data integrity procedures are maintained, improved and developed whilst meeting the continually changing needs of Link’s users and in conjunction with Link Group and subsidiary business plans.
Develop, maintain and implement effective methods of HR service delivery, lean process re-engineering, service improvement and development, leveraging technology and identifying and implementing best practice.
Working in partnership with ICT and the HR Systems Officer to manage the HR ICT budget requirements, suppliers, tenders and lead the integration of HR and corporate systems as required.
You will be educated to degree level or have substantial broad HR experience covering recruitment, payroll and first level employee and manager advice within a complex organisation with an excellent track record of improving processes and developing systems with a good understanding of legislative requirements and best practice.
You will be an excellent communicator that builds relationships and credibility quickly.
An experienced leader you will have the ability to motivate the team, set priorities and targets and plan work to meet service standards and deadlines. You will also have the ability to analyse and interpret complex written information, lead and deliver projects through effective change management practices including the implementation and changing HR systems.
Experience in MidlandHR (iTrent) HRIS system and a project management or process management trained/accreditation is desirable.
