The Huntercombe Group are delighted to be advertising a rarely available HR opening in our Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation & Neurological Care Centre.
The individual will be responsible for the administration of recruitment for all posts within the site including:
- Producing job adverts
- Co-ordinating interviews
- Preparing contracts of employment
- Processing new starters
- Administer Disclosure Scotland documents
Manage sickness and annual leave system and keep accurate and up to date records.
Maintain HR files ensuring that all documentation (Disclosure Scotland, qualifications, work permits, visa etc..) are acquired, updated and kept on file.
Be responsible for the administration of internal and external training including:
- Liaising with training providers
- Booking training
- Co-ordinating attendees
- Keeping training records up to date
- Producing certification where appropriate
Provide cover within the administration team as required for annual leave/sickness and to support the Hospital Director with administration as required.
To undertake such other duties and responsibilities reasonably consistent with the role or HR/Administrator as may be required by the HR Manager or Hospital Director.
To comply with all company policies and procedures including Health & Safety and Fire Safety.
Take responsibility for own personal and professional development through the performance and development reviews and attending all relevant training, including professional development.
The post-holder will have the following skills/experience:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent IT skills using Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritise
- Take own initiative
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Work with confidentiality, privacy and dignity
- Excellent people skills
- Have a flexible approach to team work
- CIPD qualified (or working towards) is desirable
The post-holder will:
3.1 Be required to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, visitors, carers, members of the multi-disciplinary care team and senior professional and managerial staff.
3.2. Conform at all times to the Policies and Procedures of the Company, with particular regard to confidentiality, financial and administrative responsibilities, and treat patients, colleagues and visitors with dignity and respect at all times.
3.3. Practice the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and take responsibility for ensuring that work is undertaken in such a manner as to ensure the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others. This should be done by ensuring that work is undertaken in accordance with instructions and training received, and by reporting any area posing a potential health and safety concern.
3.4. Maintain and support all quality initiatives and objectives introduced into the organisation.
3.5. Have access to a wide range of confidential information about patients, staff and The Huntercombe Group which must not be divulged to any unauthorised person in any circumstances at any time.
3.6 Be flexible and adaptable.
3.7 At all times, treat everyone with dignity and respect, valuing and respecting patients and staff as individuals and be committed to equality of opportunity for all, embracing diversity.
3.8 Undertake any other appropriate roles and responsibilities as requested and required.
